CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS from Baton Rouge and surrounding areas!
Join STEM Baton Rouge for an exciting STEM Fest: GAME DAY, Saturday, September 19, 2026!
As a volunteer, you’ll work directly with K–12 students to facilitate hands-on activities to discover how the power of real-world systems! No prior STEM experience is needed. Hands-on training, station materials and activity instructions will be provided on-site.
Join us by completing the volunteer registration form using this link: Volunteer Registration or use the QR code on the flyer. Then call three friends and invite them to stand alongside you. The more hands, the greater the joy. Every volunteer, every extra set of hands multiplies what we can do for these students!

STEM Fests are community-based events centered around Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Each volunteer will be assigned to a station that includes an activity card with instructions and highlights of the science behind the activity.

COLLEGE STUDENT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
· You must be a current undergraduate student to receive event stipend
· You must register BEFORE the registration deadline (8hrs prior to event)
· You must complete check-in before 10:30 AM
· You must remain at your assign station until 3:00 PM
· You must assist in event breakdown and clean up
· You must complete the volunteer survey and check out with the on-site volunteer designee.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring their children to partake in the festivities. Please make this indication in the comments box on the volunteer registration page. Children will also need to be registered separately at www.stemnola.com.
2. Volunteers must be prepared to remain in attendance for the entire event.
3. For the safety of everyone in attendance, name badges must be worn and visible.
